With over thirty years of experience in surveying, project management and planning, Peter began his career in land surveying with the South Australian Highways Department before signing his 'articles of indenture' with a private licensed surveyor and managing his Pilbara office in Western Australia for a year.
He then transferred to hydrographic surveying, joining the South Australian Port Authority in 1987. He was appointed Manager of HydroSurvey Australia in April 2002.
Peter has a Certificate in Surveying with endorsement subjects, is a registered conveyancer and is qualified as a lead auditor in Quality
Assurance. Having been a member of the Australasian Urban and Regional Information Systems Association, he is now a foundation member of the Spatial Sciences Institute.
Jeff has significant expertise in hydrographic surveying, commencing his career in 1971. As the chief surveyor within HydroSurvey Australia, Jeff has been involved in various port related surveys, coastal management, engineering and scientific surveys.
Jeff is an accredited Hydrographic Surveyor (Level 1) and holds an Associate Diploma in Surveying. He is also a member of the Spatial Sciences Institute.
Peter has twenty-one years of experience in hydrographic surveying, and through his career has worked on various hydrographic, engineering, cadastral and topographic surveys.
He possesses broad expertise in project planning and management, and in the research and development of survey systems, field techniques and data processing.
Peter has a Certificate in Surveying and is currently seeking accreditation as a Hydrographic Surveyor. He is a long serving member on the Institute of Engineering and Mining Surveyors (SA Division) committee and is also a member of the Spatial Sciences Institute.
Adrian has twenty-six years experience in the hydrographic surveying area and currently provides support services for post survey processing, engineering design, maritime information and survey fieldwork.
He is responsible for providing technical support to the HydroSurvey group, providing design and drafting services for the branch which includes the maintenance, management, integration and dissemination of spatial, aspatial and digital data.
Adrian possesses a Certificate in Surveying, with Endorsement Certificates in Drafting Graphics and Computer Aided Drafting.
Perry began his career as a fitter and turner, working in the marine, auto and maintenance industries both in Australia and New Zealand. He later joined the South Australian Port Authority working on dredging operations, and on the installation and repair of marine structures.
Perry currently provides surveying support to the HydroSurvey Group, carrying out repairs and improvements to survey launch vessels and equipment, maintaining tide recording information and manipulating and editing tidal data.
Perry is a qualified fitter and turner and has achieved certificates of competency as a coxswain (Master Class 5) and in marine engineering (Class 3).
Greg possesses a range of experience in hydrographic, topographic, engineering, geodetic and cadastral surveying, commencing his working career with the South Australian Department of Lands in 1977, and later working with the Department for Environment before joining the South Australian Port Authority. Greg supports the HydroSurvey group in conducting field surveys, and provides expertise in managing tide systems, network and tidal data.
Greg is a member of the Spatial Sciences Institute, holds a Certificate in Surveying, and is currently seeking accreditation as a hydrographic surveyor. He also possesses diving and coxswain qualifications.
He has skills in coastal management techniques (through his previous experience with the Department for Environment), project management, leadership, and research and development and is proficient in the use of various CAD software applications.
