With over thirty years of experience in surveying, project management and business planning, Peter began his career in land surveying with the South Australian Highways Department in 1975 before signing his 'articles of indenture' with a private surveying firm in Western Australia and managing that company's Pilbara office for a year.
He transferred over to hydrographic surveying joining the South Australian Department of Marine & Harbors in 1987 and was appointed the inaugural Manager of HydroSurvey Australia in April 2002.
Peter has a Certificate in Surveying with Endorsements, is a Registered Conveyancer and is qualified as a Lead Auditor in Quality Assurance. He also holds an Executive Diploma in Business Planning.
Peter has over twenty five years of experience in hydrographic surveying. Throughout his career he has worked on various hydrographic, engineering, cadastral and topographic surveys.
He possesses broad knowledge in project planning and management, research and development of survey systems, field techniques and data processing.
Peter has a Certificate in Surveying and is a Level 1 Accredited Hydrographic Surveyor. He holds a Coxswain Master Class 5 and Marine Engine Driver 2 marine qualifications. He is a foundation member of the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (Hydrography Commission) and a member of the Australasian Hydrographic Society.
Adrian has thirty years experience in hydrographic surveying and currently provides support services for post survey processing, engineering design, maritime information and survey fieldwork.
He is responsible for providing technical support to HydroSurvey Australia by providing design and drafting services including the maintenance, management, integration and dissemination of spatial, aspatial and digital data.
Adrian possesses a Certificate in Surveying, with Endorsements in Drafting Graphics and Computer Aided Drafting.
Perry began his career as a fitter and turner, working in the marine, automotive and maintenance industries both in Australia and New Zealand. He later joined the South Australian Department of Marine & Harbors working on dredging operations and on the installation and repair of marine structures.
Perry currently provides surveying support to HydroSurvey Australia, carrying out repairs and improvements to survey launch vessels and equipment, maintaining tide recording information and assists in editing tidal data.
Perry is a qualified fitter and turner and holds a Coxswain Master Class 5
and Marine Engineer Class 3 marine qualifications.
Greg possesses a wide range of experience in hydrographic, topographic, engineering, geodetic and cadastral surveying. He commenced his career with the South Australian Department of Lands in 1977 and later worked for the Department for Environment before joining Ports Corp South Australia in 1996. Greg supports HydroSurvey Australia in conducting field surveys, and provides expertise in managing tide systems, network and tidal data.
Greg has a Certificate in Surveying, is a Level 2 Accredited Hydrographic Surveyor and also possesses diving and coxswain qualifications. He is a foundation member of the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (Hydrography Commission) and a member of the Australasian Hydrographic Society.
Greg represents South Australia on the Permanent Committee on Tides and Mean Sea Level.
Paul has a trade background in carpentry, joinery and cabinet making. He owned his own business before recently returning to studies. He currently provides surveying support to HydroSurvey Australia.
Paul has a certificate III in Spatial Information Systems, a Certificate IV in Surveying and a Diploma in Surveying.
